サンタのコスチューム、赤色についての覚書

駅近くのスーパーで、レジの店員がサンタの帽子を被っていた。
サンタの赤は、コカ・コーラの赤だったような。都市伝説かな？ 違うかな？
ヨーロッパか何処かの、緑や青のサンタクロースを写真で見た記憶がある。
赤色は、少なくとも日本では、違う意味がある(あった)。
を発端に、「色」について独自の研究を進めることにしました。
『ガンダム』のシャア(シャー)は「赤い彗星」。

I saw the clerks that were wearing Santa hats at the supermarket near the station.
I remember that Santa's red color is Coca-Cola's color. Is this an urban legend? Or true?
I have a memory having seen pictures of Santa Claus dressed in green or blue. I guess those pictures are taken or drawn in Europe and other countries.
Red color means or meant differnt things, at least in Japan.

A song named "A Rose of Passion" by BLUE HEARTS, Japanese punk band, includes the words "a crimson rose of passion ".

Red is also the color of the bloodshed.
